This catalogue presents 260 works of the Parisian painter and engraver Louis-Gabriel Moreau, or Moreau l’Aîné (1740–1806). The artist, who specialized in landscapes and views of the surroundings of Paris, including Neuilly, Saint-Cloud, and Vincennes, was very much sought-after by 18th-century amateurs.
