Eva Gonzalès

In 2022, the WPI commenced the Eva Gonzalès catalogue raisonné project. In association with Marie-Caroline Sansaulieu, we will be reviewing all works previously included in the 1990 edition of the catalogue by Sansaulieu and Jacques de Mons, and also will consider works presented to our committee.

Eva Gonzalès: Étude critique et catalogue raisonné

The catalogue includes 124 works: 88 paintings, 23 pastels, 6 watercolors, 2 charcoals, and 1 drypoint etching. Through extensive archival research, the authors were able to document and identify new works, hence making a significant contribution to the scholarship on this under-studied artist and great painter of modern life.
