Romare Bearden

The WPI began working with the Romare Bearden Foundation in 2020 and has since been processing their archives and artwork documentation. We anticipate releasing the catalogue raisonné database of artworks executed between 1964–1969 in 2025. We also host a selection of digitized materials from the artist’s estate, and sponsor webinar series and the recording of oral histories related to the artist and his circle.
