Print Publications
In addition to ongoing digital projects, the WPI has produced select print publications that draw from archival material and exemplify our commitment to scholarly research. Since our founding in 2016, the WPI has published the acclaimed five-volume Jasper Johns: Catalogue Raisonné of Painting and Sculpture, as well as the reprint of our first volume, Roberta Bernstein’s monograph, Jasper Johns: Redo an Eye. In May 2020, we released our latest print publication: The Letters of Edgar Degas, edited by Theodore Reff. This essential three-volume reference on the artist offers an indispensable resource to anyone interested in Degas, Impressionism, or 19th-century French history and literature and is distributed by Penn State University Press.
