Request for research and inclusion in a Catalogue Raisonné

Thank you for your interest in submitting a work of art to one of our committees. The WPI periodically hosts committees to consider works of art for inclusion in our ongoing catalogue raisonné projects.

To begin your submission of a work of art for a committee’s consideration:

You will be asked to share any information you have about the work, digital images, and a fully-executed Submission & Consultation Agreement. The applicant will be required to pay a fee of $2,500 for this service.*

The WPI hosts committees for the following artists’ catalogue raisonné projects:

  • Paul Gauguin

  • Eva Gonzalès

  • Édouard Manet

  • Albert Marquet

  • Claude Monet

  • Camille Pissarro: Paintings, Pastels and Gouaches

  • Odilon Redon

  • Pierre-Auguste Renoir

  • Kees van Dongen: Paintings

  • Maurice de Vlaminck

  • Tom Wesselmann

For any questions regarding the above artist projects, please contact us at: info@wpi-art.org

Additionally, the WPI has initiated a catalogue raisonné project on Romare Bearden. If you own a work of art by this artist, and want it to be considered for inclusion in a future catalogue raisonné, please contact the project manager:

*Please note: The WPI will not provide any refunds if our staff have already begun work on a request. However, the WPI can provide a refund, less any applicable processing fees, for an Archival Inquiry that is exchanged for an Inclusion request for the same work of art. All refunds are subject to processing fees. No other refunds will be provided for services rendered.
