The Wildenstein Plattner Institute maintains various archival resources, many of which have been digitized and are available on our website. Included among our holdings are artists’ papers, dealer stock books, historic photo collections, and the scholarly dossiers of suspended raisonné research projects sponsored by the Wildenstein Institute. Our Sales Catalogue database currently offers access to more than 22,000 sales catalogues dating from the 18th century and until 1945. Also offered here are links to the WPI’s Oral History series, featuring unprecedented firsthand accounts from art historians, archivists, gallerists, and others with close connections to WPI’s research projects.
